This website offers visitors are offered means to learn about the services provided by Vivacity Occupational Therapy and access booking and inquiry options. Terms & Conditions - the basics
Services provided by Vivacity Occupational Therapy are regulated by the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO). The services are limited to the scope of practice of Occupational Therapists and can include the controlled act of psychotherapy in certain context where the mandate has been made clear from the referral. No services can be commenced without informed consent. It is anticipated that self-referring individual understands the basic therapeutic services offered within the province of Ontario by Occupational Therapists. The services are not to be confused with other health professionals, such as physical therapists, psychologists, social workers or massage therapists. Requesting such services may render your requests through this website non-applicable. In this case, the owner of this website reserves the right to not enter into communication in the case of requests for non-applicable services.

The general public can access this website, consult the blog and refer to booking portals. Only individuals within in jurisdiction of Ontario can access services for in-person consultation. Provinces outside of Ontario may have an agreement with the province's regulator (COTO) to engage in virtual services, but only when it is deemed appropriate by both the client and the therapist, given the specific individual's context and goals for therapy. These provinces include British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova-Scotia and Newfoundland.
The general public can also visit the professional social media pages that are run by Vivacity Occupational Therapy and the LinkedIn profile of the professionals who practice under the Vivacity Occupational Therapy banner. This is not to be confused with personal profiles that belong to these professionals. Should there be concerns related to the content of the website or the social media platforms associated with this business, you may provide feedback in the form on this website under contact us or email info@vivacityot.com.
Services through Vivacity Occupational Therapy may be billed directly through insurance, if the client has adhered to a plan associated with Telus eclaims, Medavie Blue Cross, Sunlife. You may inquire about your specific plan, however, it is the responsibility of the insured to verify the means to submit a claim. Co-payment may be required despite coverage. Other forms of payment are, but not limited to, e-transfers and credit card.
It is unlawful to commit plagiarism of any content contained in the blog, on social media platforms. Intellectual property belonging to Vivacity Occupational Therapy must be respected and any request to use content contained within must be reviewed and approved prior to commencing use.
The use of this website to conduct harassment, stalking or cyber-bullying is strictly forbidden. Analytics available to the owner of this website can and will be used to document any violations of laws under the criminal code. Using information on this website for the purposes of harassment on other platforms can be traced and will be provided to legal authorities in pursuing damages or charges related to any offences.
